District Governor, Bill Emslie will visit 
Lander Rotary on August 16th.

Bill Emslie is married to Tracey Emslie. They have a farm near Fort Collins, Colorado. Bill and Tracey have four grown children and three grandchildren.
A Rotarian since 1986, Bill is a two-time past Rotary Club president and District 5440 Governor for 2017-18. Bill has a passion for Youth Services programs. He was RYLA, Young RYLA and Summer Youth Exchange chair for two Rotary Clubs and past District 5440 Summer Youth Exchange Chair. Having just completed many years as his club International Projects chair, he completed over 40 projects in Nepal as well as projects in Haiti, Africa and India. Bill has written 11 successful District 5440 grant proposals in support of these projects. He is a contributor to the Rotary Foundation, member of the Bequest Society, Benefactor, and Paul Harris Fellow.
A graduate of the United States Naval Academy and Michigan State University, he served in the active duty Navy on two nuclear submarines. As a Naval Reserve officer, he commanded six Naval Reserve units and retired as a Navy Captain with 30 years’ total service. He worked for 35 years in the electric utility industry and managed projects in power plant construction, engineering, and water resources. He is a member the Board of the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District, an Eagle Scout and will be president of the Boy Scouts Longs Peak Council Board of Directors in 2018-19.
