The present-day George graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2018. He joined Rotary in 2022.

At its Annual Meeting in December, the Club also elected other officers for the 2026-27 and 2027-28 Rotary years. Eddie Lobatos (left), who has worked for the United States District Court for the past 22 years as a probation officer, was elected as President-elect for next year and will serve as President in 2027-28. Eddie grew up in Lingle, WY and graduated from Chadron State College with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He and his wife Reva Lobatos and their two wonderful sons, Hadley and Diego, have lived in Lander for the past 11 years.

State University in Logan, UT. She works at the Department of Environmental Quality, focusing on mines (land, wildlife, and water resource protection and reclamation). She works on several service-oriented small projects in West Africa and also serves as the club’s program coordinator.

In addition to Rotary, Jon is a member of Kiwanis, the Lander Strikers Soccer Club board, and was formerly on the Board of the Chamber of Commerce. Jon loves the Lander community and is always willing to take time out of his busy work and home schedules to support the city’s many great organizations.
