rians showed off both their demolition and building skills on April 11 at the Child Development Services (CDS) playground. They demolished an old shelter and sandboxes and replaced them with a large greenhouse and several planters. Plus, the club donated $2,250 to CDS to reimburse it for the cost of materials and a handwashing station. Thanks to Janet Seeley, Stan Cannon, and Martin and Maria Kidner, who led the planning and execution on this very worthwhile service project for the Club’s Service Committee, and the Rotarians and non-Rotarians who made it happen on a beautiful Saturday: Martin Kidner, Janet and Walt Seeley, John Brown, Monica Leininger, Stan Cannon, Eddie Lobatos, Gail Duba, and Lisa Dawson. Almost 100 volunteer hours went into the project!
