On October 7th, "Bex" Rebecca Harper-Wells
and her friend visited Lander Rotary on their
way around the world. Both are from Australia.
Helen became acquainted with Bex
while Helen was a member of the
Green River Rotary Club. Bex was an
exchange student to their Rotary club.
On Octobaer 14th John Brown was the
finer. Boy did he raise a lot of $$$ for
Lander Rotary.
Of course, our esteemed leader, Mark
was enjoying the thought of extra income.
On October 14th, we had two guests.
The first was Liz Kidner. She was the
guest of Alyssa Guschewsky.
The second was Jill Hunter. She was the
guest of Trey Warren.
Mary Murray gave a suburb re-classification
talk as the program on the 14th.
Dominick announces that the Dictionary Project is
underway and that he will be looking for volunteers
to distribute the books to the County third graders.
On October 21st, we had three guest. Alyssa
invited Liz Kidner to attend the meeting.
Sam Lightner was Mike Lilygren's guest.
Sam has since become one of our new members.
Scott Hayes was Gary Michaud's guest.
Scott Hayes has also become a new member.
OH NO!! The "Cookie Monster" was back
for the 21st meeting. Your smile is awesome Vince.
Our own Mike Lilygren gave the program
on LEDA, which Mike help found.
Mike's business partner and co-founder of
LEDA, Cade Maestas, assisted with the presentation.
Max, our exchange student, has become a
regular guest at our meetings. He is giving
the club German lessons.
Ernie leads the club in a rousing rendition
Of "Ragtime Cowboy Joe" in honor of the
Wyoming Cowboys.
on the 28th, our State House member, Lloyd
Larsen gave the program on the status of the
re-organization of the State care facilities.
John returned as the finer on the 28th. He
raises a bunch of money for the club. Mark,
who invites him to take on this task?
Steve could not answer the question for
his table even by cheating with the use of his
"smart phone". Someone will slap your hands Steve!
