Lander Rotary club is holding PURPLE PINKIE DAY on Wednesday November 20, to raise money for polio eradication.
For $1.00, a person can have his or her PINKIE PAINTED PURPLE to show support for this program.
All of the money collected will be used to assist Rotary International efforts in global polio eradication.
You can have YOUR PINKIE PAINTED PURPLE at the following locations from noon to 1:00

Mr. D’s, the Lander Bake Shop, Gannett Peak Sports, Safeway Ace Hardware
While North and South America have been polio free for several decades, the disease still can be found in the Middle East.
Polio is highly contagious, and due to global travel, the whole world is at risk if polio is present in any country in the world

Members: Here is the plan
On Wednesday Nov, 20 we will have tables and donation boxes at the five locations noted above.
Members should be present from 12:00 to 1:00 pm to help solicit donations. We recommend wearing purple if you can and dress for indoor or outdoor weather.
The table  at Ace will be outside and the tables at the other locations may be indoors or outside depending on the weather.
In some locations we feel being on the sidewalk would give more exposure if the weather permits.
Smile, have fun and make some money for Polio!
