Last Thursday Lander Rotary, with the co-operation of the Lander Fire Department, escorted the "Cat in the Hat" and "Thing One" and "Thing Two"  to the Gannett Peak Elementary School.  The visit was to celebrate Dr. Susses' birthday
Rotarian Sheriff Skip Hornecker read his favorite book of all time, The Cat in the Hat,  to the Kindergarten and First Grade classes while the two Things and the Cat cavorted to the delight of the students.  The Rotarian in charge of this annual Rotary event is Helen Higby and those regular folks that participated in addition to Skip and Helen were two of the Lander Fire Department firemen, and Rotarians Darla Mason and Ken Richardson.
